About The Course

This three (3) unit skill set will provide participants with a toolkit of practical ideas and techniques to help them develop and implement policies and practices to minimise the risk of cyber attacks to the organisation. We look at understanding different types of cyber threats, employee risk profiles, developing risk response plans, legislative requirements relating to breaches and a range of other topics.

Target Audience

This course is suitable for policy development officers and those with a responsibility for liaising with and/or providing support and guidance to technical IT support.  This is not a technical course.  You do not need to be an IT technician in order to successfully complete this course.

What will happen when you submit your expression of interest?

  • You will receive an email confirming your expression of interest. That email will identify your participants and the workshop they are booked into, and, for short courses, how much the total fee will be.
  • For short courses, we will send you an invoice with the workshop fee. For skill sets, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.
  • Once we have received your payment or confirmed your eligibility for funding support, we will confirm your participants' enrolment into the workshop.
  • We will send your participants workshop(s) reminders, including calendar invites so that they can easily add the workshop to their calendar.
  • Once the workshop / module is concluded, each participant will receive a certificate of attendance or Statement of attainment as appropriate.
