BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management

Foundational Leadership Training For Team Leaders

“Get the right people. Then no matter what all else you might do wrong after that, the people will save you. That’s what management is all about.”

Whether you are a business or an individual, studies show that investing in leadership training provides a significant return on investment including: increased staff retention, improved productivity, increased skill and knowledge relevance, improved adaptability and higher employability and promotion opportunities.

75% of people quit their job to get away from their manager at some point in their career.  Having a bad manager is often a one-two punch: Employees feel miserable while at work, and that misery follows them home, compounding their stress and putting their well-being in peril.

  • Develop skills in effective communication.
  • Motivate and engage themselves and others.
  • Foster a culture of clear accountability.
  • Drive outcomes, tackle adversity, develop problem solving skills and overcome resistance.

practice face to face training Module Clusters

Units in our BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management are clustered together into modules, allowing learners to gain a more holistic understanding of the subject matter.  This makes the training and assessment process more relevant, less repetitive and less time consuming, allowing learners to focus on developing important skills across units and contexts.

We're Different. We try harder!

Why Us?

It’s true.  We do try harder!  And we do want to stand out from the rest!  Our Tasmanian based BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management qualification doesn’t use off the shelf, mass produced books and assessment tools that have no context or meaning to learners.  We combine face to face training, workplace visits, on the job training and self paced learning to give participants the very best training we can.

Face to face workshops means that we actually do training!  We don’t just give learners a workbook and then leave it up to them.  We assess participants using practical and relevant assessment tools that are designed to assess actual skills needed in the workplace. What makes us valuable to you? We actually train people in the skills they need to be better at their job.  This means people get things done faster, more effectively and save money in the process.  We give people the skills to adapt and change as the business does.

Want to keep staff and have them more engaged, committed and enthusiastic about your business?  Invest in your leaders at every level of your organisation.  Make sure your leaders are committed to getting the best from their teams through great communication, managing performance, developing and training others, setting and achieving targets, role modelling the behaviours you want all the while keeping an eye on the bottom line.
